 Small Group Sessions

Whereas private counseling sessions allow for individual focus, group counseling offers a collective experience. Coming together in one of my groups means that you are joining with other people who have a common identity and a sense of shared purpose.

As a Licensed Psychologist and Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (the work of Dr. Brené Brown), I offer small group counseling sessions that range on topics from interpersonal issues, recovery, and shame-resilience.

Additionally, I offer Women's Circle: Connection & Intention and Spiritualish Book Club, both of which meet on a monthly basis.

 

Healing Together

Research has shown that participating in group counseling sessions provides important social support, improves clients’ social networks and interactions, and reduces stigma, isolation, and feelings of alienation. Witnessing change in other group members can be a powerful catalyst for individuals' own growth. As some of my group counseling clients have shared, “hearing the words ‘me too’ is one of the most helpful messages I’ve received.” Knowing you aren’t alone in your experience is powerful for your own journey toward healing.

Mind + Body

As a Certified Yoga Teacher, I offer private individual and small group yoga sessions. These can take the form of vinyasa and/or hatha yoga, as well as trauma-informed yoga and grief yoga.
